During a recent badminton activity Mr Joe Borg, one of the Directors of Smart Office Supplies Ltd of Valletta Road Qormi, presented his company’s sponsorship cheque to Joseph Salomone, secretary of Birkirkara Badminton Club. The sponsorship agreement covers season 2013/14. Smart Office Supplies caters for all office and school necessities.

In his speech Mr Borg said he was happy his company is venturing into the world of sport by helping Birkirkara Badminton Club, local badminton champions, because Smart Office Supplies believes in fostering sportive ideals. He said he hopes that this agreement will help the club and its members achieve their ambitions even further.

In his reply the club’s secretary reiterated that the club’s main ambitions have been, and still are, to foster badminton amongst children and youths and he was sure that Smart Office Supplies’ help will be of benefit to the club to deliver their message for the benefit of badminton and youngsters in general. He promised his club will always do its best to achieve good results – on and off court.
